    We are excited to announce that Joshua C., a Grade 6 student at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic School, is the winner of the Durham Catholic District School Board’s Pink Shirt Day T-Shirt Design Contest!

  • St. Joseph Catholic School in Oshawa Secures Top 10 Spot in the 2025 CBC Music Class Competition
    This year, the Junior Band at St. Joseph Catholic School in Oshawa proudly secured a Top 10 placement in the 2025 CBC Music Class Competition!
    Led by Mr. Parker, the ensemble of ten talented students from Grades 6–8 chose to perform “Je te laisserai des mots” by acclaimed Canadian songwriter, Patrick Watson. To bring a fresh twist to the performance, the group filmed in the school office, re-creating a cozy setting reflective of a "Tiny Desk Concert". This setting highlighted both the intimacy and creativity of the group.
  • Pathways to Possibilities: SHSM Students Take Learning Beyond the Classroom

    Grade 11 and 12 students in our Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs recently stepped out of the classroom and into exciting hands-on learning during Sector-Partner Experience Days with local community partners.
