  • 2024-2025 DCDSB Student Achievement Plan Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is pleased to present the 2024-2025 Student Achievement Plan.   • St. Mary Catholic Secondary School Receives Pickering Environmental Schools Grant to Support Outdoor Classroom and Gardens St. Mary Catholic Secondary School received a Pickering Environmental Schools Grant from the City of Pickering in the 2023-2024 school year.
  • Holy Family Catholic School Recognizes Down Syndrome Awareness Month As October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Holy Family Catholic School has been learning about Down syndrome. As a culminating task, all students collectively completed a ribbon that came together as a display in the front foyer.

  • DCDSB Schools Fundraise for ShareLife Students and educators came together to support community members in need through a series of successful fundraising events for ShareLife. Let’s celebrate the outstanding efforts of the top three schools in our Catholic learning community: St.
  • St. Luke Food Drive - Full of Gratitude and Hope St. Luke Catholic School hosted a school-wide Food Drive, where they encouraged each class to bring in as many food items as they could carry to school!  This was a school-wide initiative had everyone involved and helping out our community in Durham Region.
  • DCPIC Commissioning Mass (1) On Thursday, October 17, the Durham Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (DCPIC) held its annual Commissioning Mass to welcome new and returning Catholic School Council Chairs, Co-Chairs and Principals, as well as the committee's new Parent Representatives. Congratulations to all those who were commissioned today! We thank you for your continued support and the pivotal role that you all play in our Catholic learning community.
