Super 60 Cross Country ChampionshipOn Thursday, October 10, more than 660 students participated in the Durham Elementary Catholic Athletics (DECA) Super 60 Cross Country Championship Meet.
Held as the culmination of the DCDSB 2024 Cross-Country season, the Super 60 Championships were open to elementary school runners in Grades 3 to 8 that placed in the top 15 at one of DCDSB’s four Regional Meets.

Ajax Fire Chief for the Day at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic SchoolOn October 10, a Grade 3 student at St. Teresa of Calcutta Catholic School was thrilled to learn that he had won the Ajax Fire Chief for the Day contest! Evan’s creative submission, a comic strip showcasing his ideas to enhance community safety and well-being as Fire Chief, was selected from over 600 entries from elementary schools across Ajax.
