Teacher candidates are asked to provide:

  • Cover letter and resume;
  • Certificate of Qualification/Interim Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing).  New graduates pending OCT certification are welcome to apply.
  • Pastoral Reference Letter (Archdiocese of Toronto) or a letter from your Roman Catholic parish priest on parish letterhead (dated within one year);
  • Criminal Background Check with the Vulnerable Sector suitable to the Board (dated within one year);
  • Practicum Teaching reports (minimum of 2) or recent Teaching evaluations (experienced teacher); 
  • Three professional reference letters or contact information (email address and phone number).
  • QECO evaluation, if applicable; and
  • Any other related documents, i.e., Certificate of AQ Completion, etc.

We are recruiting teachers with qualifications in Construction Technology, Transportation Technology, Computer Technology, etc. to join us!

Technology Teacher candidates must have a complete portfolio including:

  • Pastoral Reference Letter (Archdiocese of Toronto) or a letter from your Roman Catholic parish priest on parish letterhead (dated within one year);
  • Criminal Background Check with the Vulnerable Sector suitable to the Board (dated within one year);
  • A minimum of two evaluation/practicum reports;
  • Certified candidates must be registered with the Ontario College of Teachers (in good standing) or have Temporary/Transitional OCT status;
  • Technological Studies qualifications.

LINC/ESL Instructor candidates are asked to provide: 

  • Cover letter and resume; 
  • Criminal Background Check with the Vulnerable Sector suitable to the Board (dated within one year); 
  • TESL Ontario certification & membership in good standing;
  • PBLA training & experience;
  • University degree;
  • CLB bootcamp
